Join us for gift giving with Operation Christmas Child. This mission collects shoebox gifts‑filled with fun toys, school supplies and hygiene items-and delivers them to children in need around the world to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way.

Redemption Hill Church plans to pack shoe boxes in small groups. Everyone is welcome. There are 3 different dates and locations available…

  • Tuesday, Nov. 1, 7-9 pm @ Wetzel (Ankeny)
  • Wednesday, Nov. 2, 6:30-8:30 pm @ Reichart (Adel)
  • Sunday, Nov. 6, 12:30-2:30pm @ Danielson (Adel)

Shoeboxes will be provided at each location.

Purchase your shoebox items and bring them with you to the small group packing party. There is also a suggested donation of $10 per box to cover shipping expenses.

We are aiming for each small group to pack 5 or 6 boxes for a total of 20 boxes as a church.

If you would like to make a donation of items and/or money to use towards the purchase of gifts or to cover shipping expenses reach out to Erica Danielson or Emily Swinger.

If you are interested in packing a box but aren’t able to attend one of the small group gatherings please reach out to Emily Swinger to get a box. All packed boxes must be turned in by Sunday, November 13. Check out the website for more information about Operation Christmas Child.
