Easter at Redemption Hill Church

Easter is a celebration of the resurrection of Christ.

Jesus was crucified as the sacrifice for our sins. But on the third day after his death, he rose from the grave. Paul wrote that “if Christ has not been raised, then our proclamation is in vain, and so is your faith,” (1 Cor. 15:14).

On Easter, we celebrate the reality of the resurrected Christ. We thank God for his grace to us in the crucifixion. And we look forward to Christ’s return.

Who is Redemption Hill Church?

We are a gospel-centered church. It’s all about Jesus. From beginning to end, the Bible points us to the amazing reality that God has been merciful to sinners in Jesus.

We preach the Bible. The Bible is the only essential and infallible record of God’s self-disclosure to humanity. We believe preaching needs to come from the Bible so that God’s truth is declared for the good of people and to the glory of God.

We go through life together. God designed us to live in community with each other. And the local church is the most profound and essential community created by God.

"Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer and on the third day rise from the dead, and that repentance for the forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem."
